Where our data comes from
Verification is Google — and only Google. Every rating and review count is pulled straight from Google Maps. That’s the whole method above: no opinions, no paid placements.
Deciding what to cover draws on around a dozen signals — live ratings, search trends, seasonal and local context, community chatter, and food imagery from across the web. The exact blend is our own recipe. Trends tell us what to look at; Google ratings decide whether it earns a spot.
